We just returned from a Pioneering weekend were we constructed a double platform monkey bridge out of timbers and rope. This was the first large pioneering project any of the scouts had done. The Scouts carried in all of the materials and constructed the platforms and bridge themselves. Every Scout and adult leader were able to cross the bridge that afternoon before being disassembled and carried back out.
