Troop 126 is focused on teaching Scouts leadership through experience. All outings and meetings are planned by the boys and led by the Senior Patrol Leader. With guidance and support of our adult leaders the troop participates in a range of activities that includes hiking, canoeing, biking, skiing, backpacking, camping and cooking. Campfires are also part of every outing.
If you are looking for lots of fun and adventure while learning how to work as a close-knit team, Troop 126 is the place for you.
Boy Scouts is a very different experience than Cub Scouts in that the Scouts lead the troop with a 10:1 ratio of boys to adults. No Scouting experience is required to join, so if you are in middle or high school and are interested in Scouting, stop by any of our meetings and check us out.
