We camped all weekend and constructed a double platform monkey bridge out of timbers and rope.
Highlights
- This was the first large pioneering project any of the scouts had done.
- The scouts did all of the construction themselves and were able to spend the afternoon crossing the bridge.
- Three of our 2nd class scouts (Seamus, Luke and Sal) MC’d the campfire and did a great job.
- We had to carry in all of our equipment and timbers and the scouts did a great job moving it all.
