Webelos Open House

We would like to invite all Webelos II scouts and their parents to our Troop meeting on Tuesday, December 20th.

At the meeting the boy leadership will be reviewing some of the outings we have been on over the past year and will be working with the Webelos on a few scouting skills. Mr. Rich and the other adult leaders will also be available to answer any questions that the parents or scouts may have.

Please join us Tuesday, December 20th from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Franklin Elk’s Lodge, 1077 Pond St. (Directions)

Seven Rivers District Fall Camporee

Site GatewayWhat a weekend! On October 21-23 we attended the Seven Rivers District Fall Camporee. The Camporee is an opportunity for our Scouts to interact with Scouts from other Troops. The theme of this year’s camporee was “Survivor.” The weekend activities centered on a competition between all of the Patrols that attended. Was our Troop the last Survivor? Camping on Lovells Island, Boston Harbor

Service Project Last weekend we camped on Lovells Island in Boston Harbor. While there we participated in a National Park Service cleanup project, explored the bunkers and batteries from WWII and explored the beach and tide pools. At night we had a campfire on the beach and the patrols had time to work and relax together. The weather was perfect and it was a very good trip.

We Just Returned from Camp Squanto

Saco River Canoeing

CanoeingIn June we went on an 11 mile canoe trip on the Saco River in Maine. We had 24 boys and 15 canoes on the trip which was challenging and a lot of fun.

Memorial Day Parade

The TroopWe marched in the Memorial Day parade today. It was a beautiful day and we had a great turnout with 22 scouts marching. After the parade we led the Pledge of Allegiance for the Memorial Day Ceremony.
