2015 October – Highland Games

Tartans

This year’s Camporee was held at the Wrentham Developmental Center, and the theme was the long awaited Highland Games! As usual, scouts had tons of fun at each of the different activities, such as the Caber Toss, Hoist the Sheep, and Tug of War. The events were adorned with Scottish flair, and our troop even made different colored tartans for each of our patrols, or clans as they were known as for the weekend. This trip was much anticipated, and it proved to be as much fun as the scouts expected!

There was a bouldering wall that some scouts could overcome and make it to the top of! We slept inside the Climbing Gym, woke up, did a bit more climbing, then left.
