December 2017 outing

On December 15, the troop went to Rock Spot in western Rhode Island. We left on Friday night and returned the next morning, but had a lot of fun in that short time. Everyone got about five hours of climbing, and we played games after the lights were shut off. Unfortunately, one of our adult leaders, Mr. Kerns, fell while bouldering and dislocated his shoulder. He went to the emergency room and was back without any serious injuries in about an hour. Besides that, the trip was mostly uneventful, but was still a lot of fun. 36 Scouts attended the trip.
