September Outing 2019

On September 28th, the troop took a ferry to Lovells Island in Boston. We discovered lot of cool things there, like a bunker inside of a hill. We played a lot of games there like capture the flag, which was a favorite. We also roamed the beach to try to find anything cool there. On top of that, there was a beautiful sunset at night that we got a perfect view of. Overall, it was a really fun trip with a lot of fun memories.

In the week they were there, they learned a lot about what it is like to go to a military academy. They even had a few competitions using some of the skills that they learned. Despite lousy weather and getting knee-deep in mud, the troop remained cheerful throughout the week and had a lot of fun.

Klondike 2019

February 2nd the Troop stayed at a site called Blackfoot in Plymouth, MA in a camp named Camp Squanto. There we had 12 scouts pull around 2 different sleds hoping to do the best in different activities. We had lots of fun, but unfortunately couldn’t stay the night because we had trouble getting to Plymouth. Each sled won a third place ribbon in 2 events, and everyone was cheery even through the below freezing temperatures.
